What’s Cooking in 2016

It’s the 31st of January; is it too late to make a “what’s cooking?” plan for this year?  Well, according to my experience in the corporate world, I have until at least mid-March to set my goals for this year, so I’ve got plenty of time before I have to commit to a plan. Actually, I planned to get Cheryl to take over the entire blog, and I would cook and supply pics. As you can guess, that idea went over like a fart in church. But the good news is we are teaming up to create a bigger and better blog.

We are foodies, and just about everything we do revolves around food. If we’re not cooking food, we’re talking about food, shopping for food, or watching TV shows about food. The only books we buy are cookbooks. And we’ve got a food-based business, so we often spend weekends talking about food with customers and other vendors. I would say we are genuine foodies.

We also cook many great meals that don’t involve the grill or the smoker that never makes it on the blog. That’s a lot of great recipes that we never shared, which is truly a waste. Ultimately we want to share our passion for cooking and encourage everyone to cook more regardless of the heat source you use.

We want to create a better blog that accurately represents our love of food and passion for cooking. Don’t worry; there will still be plenty of grilling, barbecue, and more bacon. We’re really excited about the new direction we’re taking, it’s going to be a lot of fun, and we hope you all will enjoy it. See you soon!
