I thought I would start my first blog post with an appropriate quote from my dad.  I grew up working in our family business and he used to hate seeing me standing around doing nothing and he frequently told me “Do something, even if it’s wrong!”  Here it goes, I’m doing a blog. I am going to blog about the one of the few things I have time to do outside of work and that is BBQ.
I have always enjoyed cooking and over the last couple of year’s I’ve been obsessed with BBQ.  My obsession went up a notch or two when I purchased a Big Green Egg last year.  Since then I have been perfecting my spice and sauce recipes as well as teaching myself how to smoke meat.  I have made good progress with pork shoulder, brisket and turkey, still working on the elusive rib.
